Wherever You Go

Wherever You Go by Heather DavisWHEREVER YOU GO
Harcourt (November 2011)

Seventeen-year-old Holly Mullen has felt lost and lonely ever since her boyfriend, Rob, died in a tragic accident. The fact that she has to spend most of her free time caring for her little sister and Alzheimer’s-stricken grandfather doesn’t help. But Holly has no idea that as she goes about her days, Rob’s ghost is watching over her. He isn’t happy when he sees his best friend, Jason, reach out to help Holly with her grandfather—but as a ghost, he can do nothing to stop it. Is his best friend really falling for his girlfriend?

As Holly wonders whether to open her heart to Jason, the past comes back to haunt her. Her grandfather claims to be communicating with the ghost of Rob. Could the messages he has for Holly be real? And if so, how can the loved ones Rob left behind help his tortured soul make it to the other side?

Told from the perspectives of Holly, Jason, and Rob, Wherever You Go is is a poignant story about making peace with the past, opening your heart to love, and finding the courage to move forward into the light.

I found you’re book “Never Cry Werewolf” very intense and extremly enjoyable, when I first was in the book story to get my first book it was you’re book I wanted, but I made a deal with my dad to read a book we both agreed on. The second time I went in the book store to find the book, it wasn’t there, so I requsted to get the book on hold, after the due date I have recieved the money to go get, I had spent my money on getting lunch for my friends one day so I had to wait after my birthday to get the book, when I got there I thought that maybe the book I ask was not there so I chaecked the shelves, no luck there, but when I asked the cashier if it was there I finally walked out with the book I had wanted in the first place.

Thanks so much, and keep up the incredeble writing!! 🙂

HI! I went to the library last week and was checking out a ton of books! I walked by a shelf and the name “Never Cry Werewolf” just screamed at me. I’m the kind of person that does judge the book by the title and cover. If it dosen’t look interesting to me… why read it? Right? Well this book was just up my ally. I’m on this vampire werewolf supernatural kick. I don’t even look for these books. They just pop out at me. I started reading it and I couldn’t put it down. I finished it in maybe 3 hrs. It was an amazing book! You deff need to come out with a sequal to it…. I mean whats going to happen to Shelby?? I wasn’t planing on writing anything at all. I just wanted to come and see what other books you have out. I just requested “The Clearing” and plan on picking it up tomorrow!. I plan on buying this book and reading it over and over again. It was AWSOME!! Your a great writer, keep up the good work and i’m looking forward to the books to come.! :))

    • Hi Rebecca,

Wow, what a comment! 🙂 I’m glad you liked the book so much. The Clearing and Wherever You Go are darker and more emotional than Werewolf, but I hope you’ll like them, too. Thanks for writing!

Wow! Heather you are an amazing writer! I rote your book ,,Never Cry Werewolf” like five times and never got bored. I’m addicted to it! Sadly I live in Romania so the other two books You’ve wrote aren’t yet translated. But I’m planning on buying on online, on english! No matter how much it costs, I would give 100 $ to buy one of your books! All of the girls in my class bought it after I presented it on a school project! I love you Heather, you are the best of the best! 🙂

    • Aw, Paula — how sweet! Someday I’m going to have to come to Romania and meet you readers over there! The online version of Sometimes by Moonlight should be out soon so I hope you’ll get a chance to read that somehow. Thanks for the note!

    • Hi Nicole, Ask your library to get the book! That’s the best way to read and share books, still. 🙂 I don’t really write short stories anymore — but the novella for book two of werewolf is pretty short for me. Thanks for writing.
