I will have to agree.. I rather enjoyed this book. It makes a great stand along novella. However like all great books with a well witten plot as readers we would like to see the story move forward. Have the characters grow and expand. I would be nice to know if Shelby turns, or if the relationship grows or ends. Being sixteen in the book leaves the author limited growth on the relationship however there is room for personal growth.
Just thought it would be nice to validate you feelings…..

The sequel, since I’m doing it myself, is only going to be available as an e-book as of right now. And, here’s a secret — I don’t have an e-reader, either. I’m one of those people who have resisted the e-reader because I love the feel of paper books.
But, occasionally, I do read e-books on my computer with a free reader for Mac and PCs you can get here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html/ref=kcp_pc_mkt_lnd?docId=1000426311
One cool thing is that if you do end up getting an e-reader in the future (as I probably will) you can connect most e-readers to the computer storing your e-books and it will upload them – so you don’t have to buy them again or anything. I hope that helps!

The publisher of NCW wasn’t interested in doing a sequel, which was really sad for me because so many people loved the book and sales were good. So, I decided to do the novella myself — it’s an experiment that I hope fans of NCW will love. I am still writing my other YA novels for Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, and those are in a very different direction i.e. no werewolves.
Well, I wrote a letter to the publisher on your behalf telling them that all they need to do is go to your website and see how many fans want a sequel. Also that PC e-book reader, is it free? Or how much does it cost?

i would also like to say that sometimes i think you are writing about a 14 year old, not a 16 year old. some of the things shelby says and does i don’t think a 16 yr old would ?? but thats just my opinion

I read “NEVER CRY WEREWOLF” and is a wonderful book, you will congratulate you are a wonderful writer.I felt everything that happens in your book, I lived all the moments with characters, Austin and Shelby. It was incredible and I’m glad it was translated in Romanian which make me very happy. I’d like to read the second book but it’s on computer and isn’t translate in my language. I hope that will appear on paper and will be translated into Romanian. You are an excellent writer, very talented and I want to tell you that I in my turn write to the nearly 14 years. I wrote a poem that was published in a magazine for teens and that was the beginning for me. Now I want to write a book and I have a lot of ideas but do not know much about writing and I can not find them. I know to express feelings in what I write and I love to write. I talked to a teacher and he said I’m talented but i think that isn’t enough. Once again I say congratulations to the books you write and success in your continuare. Hello….I love your book. I came to cry when he finished. So please continue the series, although it does not know when it will be translated …You know, I am from Romania
Sometimes, I`m hating publishers and their ‘bad’ moments. You have a LOT of fans who wants a sequel on the paper, with a beautiful cover (or hardcover, it`s OK anyway). You`re not just an author of NCW, you`re a very very very good writer, one of the best, whatever top 10 or top 5 or magazines said. And I really think that`s a reason for publisher. Why don`t they see it ?! Trust me, a petition where all your fans can sign and you`re sequel will be a BOOK, not an E-book. But, sometimes I think that I`m too young to start it, because I don`t know if a petition made by a ‘kid’ who have 12 matter for someone
But I`ll sign it, if that project will ever happen. It`s time to make something to make them see the truth – And the truth is: WE ALL WANT SOMETIMES BY MOONLIGHT AS A BOOK.

OH my goodness i loved it love! love! love!I was on the Computer look at Barnes&Nobles to buy The Clearing so i could read it (again) then i noticed Sometimes By Moonlight and i almost dropped to the floor then my mom told me that i would have to wait to get it and i was like WHAT! so she bought for me…:)I wonder where they will be next time and how she will react with the baby coming!!!OH and how she will stay away from her parents for so long(without the serum yet).
